The way I became to know about The Sanctuary is a unreal story in itself/a Godsent.-While filling my suv up w/gas in Fayetteville,NC, while visiting friends, a fellow by the name of Kelly Snapp(Delta Force Officer Ret.) leaned his head in around the gas pump and asked me what a 1st Cav. guy is doing in 82nd Abn. area? (Kelly saw my 1st. Cav. Stetson on the dash)I told him..... (more than he expected). He proceeded to have his teenage son get out of his suv and introduce me as one of our heros.I was alittle embarassed but very honored. When I told him my name he told me that he had my brother with him a few days before.(My brother-C/W5 Larry Plesser Special Forces-37 yrs US Army,in chg, All Special Forces Warrants Special Ops. Cmd.)He told me that he had a friend named Jon Norsworthy who I might want to talk to. Gods Blessings come in many, many ways.I've been looking for a way to be able to give back to God for all that I've been blessed with over my 60 yrs of blessings.The PTSD has given me the low points in those yrs.But belief in The Almighty and his word got me through the tuff spots.The Prayer Footprints comes to mind.If you don't know it seek it out. The biggest thing with PTSD-for me- was to be able to talk about it-the experiences.Who's better to talk to than someone who's been there? Jon advised me that he told my story to a group of 100 soldiers at Whalter Read Hosp. and it changed a mans life. I cryed and so did Jon. If I can close this life God has given me by helping our GUARDIANS I will be more blessed than ever. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND ALL OF YOU-Yours in Christ-Barry Plesser
